JAC Group is committed to contributing to the realisation of a sustainable society through its businesses. We consider the importance of each global issue toward the development of society from the perspectives of the Group and its stakeholders. JAC Recruitment selects four areas of social challenges where it can contribute to solutions as a recruitment consultancy firm and one where it can contribute to solutions through initiatives that became the foundation of our core businesses as priority issues (materiality). Initiatives to tackle materiality will not only help grow our businesses but also help achieve the SDGs.

Supporting sustainability management to help solve social issues

As social issues such as climate change and human rights become increasingly apparent and complex, companies are expected to pursue sustainability management, contributing to the resolution of social issues through their business activities while enhancing management resilience and achieving sustainable growth. Many companies view social issues not only as risks but also as business opportunities and are working to enhance their medium- to long-term corporate value through initiatives such as the creation of new businesses.

Drawing on our deep understanding of industries and professions, the Group launched its Sustainability Project in 2022 with the aim of contributing to greater social sustainability by supporting companies working to address social issues through the introduction of highly skilled professionals who support their sustainability management.

In particular, we focus on placing professionals related to the three priority issues identified as our materiality: a fair society, people’s health, and global environmental conservation. For example, we introduce professionals responsible for formulating and implementing sustainability strategies, as well as engineers responsible for GHG emissions reduction projects in the fields of GX and renewable energy.

We also seek to contribute to narrowing the gender pay gap by introducing candidates with equivalent skills regardless of gender at fair and appropriate remuneration levels.
